Global distributor Banijay International is offering a new reality competition series, Dilemma, to the global market. Set to premiere on M6′s digital terrestrial channel W9 in France on May 20 under the title Dilemme, the series is co-created by Banijay’s international format development unit, The Creative Factory, and Alexia Laroche-Joubert, founder and MD of the prodco ALJ, part of the Banijay Entertainment Group. ALJ will produce. The premise of the series is to bring a number of contestants together, house them in isolation from the outside world along with the series’ co-hosts, and present them with personal dilemmas through which they can either choose an outcome for personal gain, or a resolution that will benefit the entire group. In addition to the daily strip, a weekly primetime slot will also be aired, and a constant feed will be available via DTH platform CanalSat. Also, online video content hub Dailymotion will provide viewers with 24/7 access to the 10-camera set-up within the house, allowing them to ‘direct’ their own versions of the show and see more of their favorite contestants.
