West Park Pictures to produce ‘The Emperor’s Secret Garden’ for Sky Arts

West Park Pictures has teamed up with the Palace Museum, The World Monuments Fund, The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation and The Prince's Charities Foundation (China) to make a one-hour doc about the restoration of the Private Lodge of Retirement in the 18th-century Qianlong Garden complex in Beijing's Forbidden City. The Emperor's Secret Garden is set to air on Sky Arts in May, after a Royal world premiere on May 10 at the British Museum, with The Prince of Wales in attendance. This marks the first time that many will see the Qianlong Garden complex, as this part of the Forbidden City has never been open to the public. The film is executive produced by Dr. Andre Singer of West Park Pictures and is co-directed by Mandy Chang, winner of Grierson Documentary and Emmy Awards for her films, and director Zhou Bing, Secretary-General of the Commission of Documentary Film in China.
