Chandler Vandergrift, a Calgary documentary filmmaker working on a film about ‘oppression and military-invoked violence that has led to a separatist movement,’ was wounded in a grenade explosion near a protest camp in Bangkok. According to The National Post, Vandergrift suffered injuries to the brain, legs and arms.
