Dilemma, a new reality format developed by Banijay Entertainment’s Creative Factory and ALJ Productions, had a big debut on French digital terrestrial channel W9 on May 20, more than doubling the channel’s primetime average share. The premiere reached more than 1.2 million viewers which makes it the most successful launch of a DTT series in France. The series, stripped every day with a primetime weekly show on Thursdays, puts eight contestants and a host together in a ‘Dilemma Cube,’ and presents each contestant with a challenge that offers them personal advantage or the chance to do something that will benefit their teams. The program is available worldwide through Banijay’s global distribution arm, Banijay International.
