Temple Street, Panasonic, Psihoyos to be honored in Banff

The Banff World Television Festival has announced the recipients of three special achievement awards being presented at the Alberta Film Awards Lunch on Monday, June 14.

The Banff World Television Festival has announced the recipients of three special achievement awards being presented at the Alberta Film Awards Lunch on Monday, June 14. Toronto-based Temple Street Productions (Canada’s Next Top Model) will receive the Lionsgate/Maple Pictures Innovative Producer award, while Panasonic is the recipient of the Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award. Louie Psihoyos, director of The Cove and executive director of the Oceanic Preservation Society, will receive the Green Grand Prize, which will be presented by Dr. David Suzuki.
