As the sun was beginning its descent in Santa Monica on June 3, The Factual Entertainment Awards were presented at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel as part of realscreen‘s second annual Factual Entertainment Forum.

Hosted by Roger Lodge (Blind Date, Talk Soup) and sponsored by History, the stylish cubes (affectionately referred to as FEFfies) were given to a wide array of programs chosen by a roster of judges that included top broadcast, production and distribution executives from the world of unscripted television, out of hundreds of entrants from around the world. Awards were given in the following major categories: Lifestyle (design, food, home); reality (docuformat, docureality, docusoap); competition (game, lifestyle, talent/studio-based); one-offs/specials; non-fiction with recreations and non-fiction without recreations.
