ITN Source, the footage sales arm of UK news producer ITN, is expanding its business-to-business education proposition, Education Clip Library (ECL), to include English Language Learning content. The ECL service is aimed at educators as well as broadcasters looking to add inspirational content to their products. The videos cover two areas: ‘Being British’ and ‘Grammar.’ The former contains cultural footage on subjects such as historic sites, galleries, museums, social heritage, literary figures and the monarchy. ‘Grammar’ illustrates examples of day-to-day verbal exchanges covering situations such as hailing a cab, asking for directions and making a restaurant reservation. To coincide with the addition of the English Language Learning footage, a re-launched website enables publishers to more easily search, license and download video.
