UK-based integrated content prodco Pulse has received a commission from Big Brother Recordings to create a series of online short films showing how the band Oasis has touched the lives of fans around the world. The 5 x 4- to 5-minute documentaries will accompany the launch of the band’s new singles collection. Each film will delve into the life of an Oasis fan who will guide viewers through a period in his or her life which was defined by a specific Oasis song. Featured fans include Italian football idol Alessandro Del Piero, whose 2006 World Cup Victory played out to a soundtrack from Don’t Believe The Truth, to a small-town, amateur boxer who was inspired to turn pro by ‘Supersonic.’ The shorts will be distributed online prior to the album’s release and will be broadcast on Channel 4′s 4Play strand on June 12.
