Target confirms talks with Metrodome

UK producer/distributor Target Entertainment has confirmed that it is in talks with independent distributor Metrodome (Donnie Darko, Monster) concerning a deal that could either have the two companies merge, or Metrodome buy part or all of Target.

UK producer/distributor Target Entertainment has confirmed that it is in talks with independent distributor Metrodome (Donnie Darko, Monster) concerning a deal that could either have the two companies merge, or Metrodome buy part or all of Target. A spokesperson for Target Entertainment told realscreen, ‘We can confirm we are in talks with Metrodome and other interested parties about our future ownership structure but there’s nothing else to say at present.’ Other companies rumored to be interested in acquiring Target include Endemol and unnamed U.S. suitors. Target has appointed accounting firm BDO to help facilitate a deal.
