UKTV’s male skewing channel Dave has commissioned an online chat show which sees host Robert Llewellyn interview one guest per show, in a car. Carpool will be produced by RDF Contact and fully funded by Toyota Prius, and will debut on Dave in the fourth quarter of 2010. British comedian Llewellyn started the show on his own website two years ago, and the shows (featuring interviews with subjects such as Stephen Fry, Nigel Planer and Jonathan Ross) averaged 50,000 views each, with 100,000 views for the Patrick Stewart interview. The show will keep the same premise as the online version; Llewellyn will drive interviewees to a destination of their choosing while having an informal conversation, on film.
