DISCOP East, which just ended in Budapest, is reporting a successful 18th edition of its market. Organizers say that 304 companies participated as sellers from 36 countries, which included 12 Central and Eastern European countries, while 406 buyers came from 31 countries. Of those numbers, 265 companies represented TV stations, Pay-TV platforms, territorial agents, home video distributors and alternative new media platforms. The 2011 DISCOP East market will be held from June 21 to June 23 and the DISCOPRO conference and pitching sessions will take place on June 24. The event will once again take place at the Sofitel Hotel, Budapest.
