New CEO of France Télévisions named

Remy Pflimlin has been named the new CEO of French public broadcaster France Télévisions.

Remy Pflimlin has been named the new CEO of French public broadcaster France Télévisions. Chosen by French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Pflimlin will replace current France Télévisions head Patrick de Carolis in August. Pflimlin has previous experience at France Télévisions, having been general director for France 3 from 1999 to 2003. He has most recently held the position of MD of Presstalis Press. The appointment still needs to be endorsed by the government audiovisual high council (CSA) before it is finalized.
