Shevick*Zupon Entertainment officially launches

A new prodco founded by veteran TV exec Jerry Shevick and entrepreneur Mark Zupon has officially been launched, with two series in the pipeline.

A new prodco founded by veteran TV exec Jerry Shevick and entrepreneur Mark Zupon has officially been launched, with two series in the pipeline. Shevick*Zupon Entertainment will focus on unscripted programming with an eye towards licensing and brand development for its own original content, as well as external entertainment properties. Currently, the Santa Monica-based company has two series on the way: Hunting Hollywood, featuring memorabilia auctioneer Joe Maddalenna is in production for Syfy and Pass the Joke, based on a never-before-seen 1972 format that featured Milton Berle as host, is in development for GSN, with BermanBraun and Zoo Productions also on board. Shevick is president of the new company, while Zupon is CEO. Development will be headed up by Amy Shpall-Appel (ex-Liberal Media and UTA).
