BBC Worldwide Channels’ HD offering, BBC HD, has now launched in Turkey on local cable operator Turksat. Available immediately to HD subscribers, the channel offers British and international content, including entertainment and arts programming, and documentaries such as Hiroshima and Nuclear Secrets. BBC HD is fully subtitled in Turkish and marks the second BBC-branded channel launched in Turkey, following BBC Entertainment, which is available through Turksat, TT Net and Digiturk TV platforms.
