Alison Kirkham, most recently commissioning editor for features in the BBC Knowledge team, has been given the role for factual features and formats on BBC One and Two.

Alison Kirkham, most recently commissioning editor for features in the BBC Knowledge team, has been given the role for factual features and formats on BBC One and Two. Her recent commissioning credits include Joanna Lumley In The Land Of The Northern Lights (BBC One) and The Delicious Miss Dahl (BBC Two). Kirkham succeeds Jo Ball, who announced in May that she would be returning to UK prodco Ricochet as managing director.
