Passion and Smithsonian Networks enter first license deal

Passion Distribution has announced its first licence deal with Smithsonian Networks for Stealing Shakespeare. The one-hour True North doc for BBC One is in HD and will be launching at MIPCOM. The special focuses on Raymond Scott, convicted of stealing Shakespeare's First Folio in July 2010. Passion will also launch series two of To Build or Not to Build, a 20x60' series for BBC One, and Battle of the Wills, an 8x30' true crime series for Crime and Investigation Channel UK.
