Australia’s Ten picks up Swedish edutainment format

Australian broadcaster Ten has commissioned Stockholm-based Strix Television's edutainment format Class Of for a 2011 debut.

Australian broadcaster Ten has commissioned Stockholm-based Strix Television’s edutainment format Class Of for a 2011 debut. The show takes a class of underachieving students and transforms them into the best in their respective country. Swedish pubcaster SVT has picked up the show for a second season and Shine has optioned it for France. Strix has also licensed the format in Germany, Belgium, Norway and Finland.
