HoustonPBS has appointed Patricia Torres-Burd to the new position of executive director of content.

HoustonPBS has appointed Patricia Torres-Burd to the new position of executive director of content. Torres-Burd, most recently general manager with Locke Bryan Productions, Inc., also spent several years with assorted international broadcasters and media companies, including stints with Latin America Broadcasting, Inc., RTV B92 in Serbia, Scandinavian Broadcasting Services (SBS) and Central European Media (CME). HoustonPBS has created the new position to better coordinate content development and delivery across multiple platforms, including local, national and international initiatives.
