The Million Pound Drop – Live will return for a second season on Channel 4 on Oct. 5. Endemol’s Remarkable Television will produce the game show, which is hosted by Davina McColl and netted an audience of 13 million during its run in the spring. The first episodes will air over a week in October, with four more to air in the ensuing weeks. Contestants are given a £1 million prize and must answer eight questions to hold on to it. If they put a wrong foot forward, the money literally falls through the floor. Viewers are able to play along at home through virtual money and a social networking integration.
