The live finale of this season’s Australia’s Next Top Model was a tad more dramatic than usual, with the wrong winner being crowned initially by host Sarah Murdoch. After naming Kelsey Martinovich as the winner, the camera then cut to a clearly dismayed Murdoch, who said that the broadcast truck had fed her the wrong outcome of the public vote. The true victor: Amanda Ware. Broadcaster Foxtel has apologized for the error and awarded Martinovich AUS$25,000. As seen in the comments for this Sydney Morning Herald piece, however, some feel the gaffe was orchestrated.
