4Rights launches ‘Come Dine With Me’ licensing program

Channel 4's 4Rights and ITV Studios Global Entertainment are launching a multi-platform licensing program for Come Dine With Me, which will include book publishing, kitchen gifts, DVDs, magazine tie-ins and online and mobile applications. ITV Studios Global Entertainment's merchandising and licensing division will manage merchandising rights as a non-exclusive licensee and ITV will launch the brand at Brand Licensing Europe in London. The DVD rights of the cookery series have also been licensed to ITV Studios Home Entertainment, with the first DVD, Come Dine With Me - The Tasty Bits, to be released in November.
Publishing deals have also been struck by 4Rights, with publisher Transworld releasing Come Dine With Me - Special Occasion in the spring and BBC Magazines creating a special Come Dine With Me Festive Entertaining supplement included with the BBC's olive Magazine this November.
Lastly, the Come Dine With Me iPhone application will launch in late 2010. Come Dine With Me is produced by ITV Studios for Channel 4.
