International Emmys nominees announced

CANNES - Nominations for the 38th International Emmy Awards were announced today by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at MIPCOM.

CANNES – Nominations for the 38th International Emmy Awards were announced today by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at MIPCOM. There are 39 nominees in 10 categories. Nominees for best documentary include 9/11: Phone Calls from the Towers (produced by Darlow Smithson Productions), Kuarup: The Lost Soul Will Return (produced by TV Globo), Mom and the Red Bean Cake (produced by South Korea’s Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) and You die as you lived: Roterdam Hospice (from KRO Broadcasting Organisation in the Netherlands). Non-scripted entertainment nominees include CQC (Eyeworks Cuatro Cabezas SA), Heston’s Feasts (Optomen for Channel 4), Remembering School (KRO / Screentime Entertainment) and Run for Money (Fuji Television Network, Inc. / Fuji Creative Corporation). Winners will be announced at a formal ceremony hosted by actor/director Jason Priestley, on November 22, 2010 at the Hilton New York Hotel.
