Endemol UK launches gaming division

Endemol UK has launched Endemol Games, a new division devoted to licensing and monetizing Endemol and third party entertainment properties in the gaming arena.

Endemol UK has launched Endemol Games, a new division devoted to licensing and monetizing Endemol and third party entertainment properties in the gaming arena. The new division is to be headed up by managing director Jurian Van der Meer, who was most recently Endemol UK’s head of products & brand exploitation. The new division will work closely with Endemol Worldwide Brands in distributing UK-created gaming properties internationally. Van der Meer will retain his international role at Endemol Worldwide Brands. Endemol has been active in the gaming space via games based on several of its TV properties, including the quiz game based on Deal or No Deal; betting games based on formats such as The Million Pound Drop, Deal or No Deal and Big Brother and a newly-launched Deal or No Deal bingo website, among others.
