IDFA’s doc selections announced

International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam has announced the almost 280 titles that will screen during the festival.

International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam has announced the almost 280 titles that will screen during the festival. The 23rd edition of IDFA, which runs November 17 to 28, features a program selected from 3,200 submissions and will have 84 world premieres at the fest. This year’s Top 10 is compiled by Finnish director Pirjo Honkasalo, and a retrospective of her work will be screened. The nominations for the competitive programs will be announced on November 24 and the awards ceremony will take place on November 26.
