UK factual prodco Steadfast Television has been placed into administration, and according to reports, eight staff members are out of work and there is in air of uncertainty over what will happen with the two shows it currently produces. Broadcast reports that Living TV Group is talking with other indies regarding the production of the sixth season of Brit Cops, and that the BBC Four series Timothy Spall: Somewhere at Sea is in the edit stage. Steadfast founder Charles Thompson recently joined DCD Media as creative director of its new division, DCD Factual, and had held discussions with Steadfast’s current owners, Content Ventures, to bring it into the new division’s fold.
