Watertown, MA-based Documentary Educational Resources (DER) has landed exclusive distribution rights for Andrés Livov-Macklin’s debut feature documentary A Place Called Los Pereyra. The film examines the impact of a visit from wealthy teenage girls upon schoolchildren in a small, impoverished village in Argentina. Since its premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, the film has appeared in festivals in Buenos Aires, Montreal, Calgary, Kiev, Havana and Santiago.
