Discovery Studios signs long-term deal with producer Eddie Barbini

Discovery Studios has entered into a long-term overall deal with Blue Frog Pictures' producer Eddie Barbini.

Discovery Studios has entered into a long-term overall deal with Blue Frog Pictures’ TV producer Eddie Barbini. Barbini, a three-time Emmy nominee for his work on Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs, will now produce series and specials exclusively for Discovery Studios.
‘Eddie is one of the top executive producers in the industry who understands Discovery’s brand promise and sensibilities. The addition of his award-winning expertise to our already strong roster will ensure that Discovery Studios continues to deliver high quality and compelling programming,’ said Carole Tomko, president, Discovery Studios.
Barbini has also worked on Worst Case Scenario, Swamp Loggers and Out of the Wild for Discovery Channel and Miracle Detectives for the Oprah Winfrey Network. Barbini was recently an executive producer with Pilgrim Films.
