‘American Masters’ kicks off with ‘Jeff Bridges: The Dude Abides’

The 25th season of PBS series American Masters will debut with the 90-minute film, Jeff Bridges: The Dude Abides. Airing nationally on January 12 and produced by THIRTEEN in association with WNET, The Dude Abides looks at the acting career of Bridges, including milestones such as 1971′s The Last Picture Show, 1998′s The Big Lebowski (where his iconic rule as ‘The Dude’ originated), and his Academy Award-winning role in Crazy Heart.
