Boomerang Plus bringing ‘The Secret Supper Club’ to Channel 4

UK prodco Boomerang Plus will produce a daytime 'pop-up dining' show for Channel 4 called The Secret Supper Club. The new format will follow TV personality and wine expert Olly Smith around the UK as he stages a series of one-off dining events with two competing local food producers.

UK prodco Boomerang Plus will produce a daytime ‘pop-up dining’ show for Channel 4 called The Secret Supper Club. The new format will follow TV personality and wine expert Olly Smith around the UK as he stages a series of one-off dining events with two competing local food producers. The 10 x 30-minutes series was commissioned by Sagina Shabaya and will begin airing in February, 2011. The Secret Supper Club is the first food and drink series for Boomerang, best known for Channel 4′s extreme sports strand Freesports on 4. The show is executive produced by Matt Cole and Gareth Rees.
