There will be a little less conviction on the airwaves in the coming year, as it’s been confirmed that Cineflex Productions’ series Conviction Kitchen will not go through to a third season. The gritty homegrown reality series, which aired on Citytv and on Planet Green stateside, put ex-cons through a culinary wringer under the watchful eye of celebrity Toronto chef Marc Thuet and business partner Biana Zorich. The first season was shot in a classy Toronto restaurant, with the second season set in a Vancouver eatery.
