Bethesda-based Half Yard Productions (Say Yes to the Dress, Real Housewives of DC) is going the extra mile by opening a new office in New York and ramping up its senior management team.

Bethesda-based Half Yard Productions (Say Yes to the Dress, Real Housewives of DC) is going the extra mile by opening a new office in New York and bolstering its senior management team.

The company, which launched in 2006 will remain headquartered in Bethesda, where its principals, Sean Gallagher and Abby Greensfelder (pictured) are located. The New York office will be housed on Spring Street.

Janice Mezzetti joins Half Yard as head of production. Based in the Bethesda office, Mezzetti comes from a stint at the BBC’s New York office, with past credits including What Not to Wear and Samantha Brown’s Weekend. She will oversee all production operations for Half Yard.

Nicole Sorrenti, with the company since its launch, will take on a new role as head of programming and executive producer for the New York office. Sorrenti produced the original series of Say Yes to the Dress and was EP on Real Housewives of DC.

Greg Smith, who has overseen various projects for the company including the American Loggers series for Discovery Channel, has been named head of programming and executive producer for the Bethesda office.

Director of development Michelle Kurtz and Rossana O’Hop, vice president, finance and accounting, round out the senior management team.
