December 9, 2010

Liz Mills is the founder and MD of MillsyMac, a newly-launched, UK boutique indie which develops and produces factual and factual entertainment formats and series. Her previous roles as the head of reality TV at Endemol UK and executive producer at the BBC have seen Mills launch Pet Rescue and The Salon as well as run Crimewatch UK. Mill is a mentor for Women in Film and Television and founder of Top TV Academy. She recently shared with realscreen a few things that people may not know about her.

1. I used to clean out ambulances for my weekend job. A bit of blood and gore made me a stronger person!

2. I wrote the True Crime Stories book when executive producer of Crimewatch – I’ve always fancied myself as the next John Grisham.

3. I played guitar in a folk group when I was 14 – if only The X Factor had been born!
