Jillian Michaels, one of the trainers on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, has announced via Twitter that she is leaving the show after next season. ‘Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :),’ she tweeted via her Twitter account. ‘Have to finish out my contract.’ Elsewhere in her Twitter feed she says that her replacement has already been hired, and that she will be using her last season to ‘help launch her.’ During a recent strike action that saw crew workers walk off the Loser set for two weeks, Michaels, along with fellow trainer Bob Harper and series host Alison Sweeney, took part in a celebrity auction to raise funds for striking workers. The strike ended when the International Association of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) reached a deal with series producers Reveille. Michaels says she’s leaving the series to focus more on her family and charity work.
