‘Sophie Dahl on Mrs Beeton’ comes to BBC Two

The BBC has announced Sophie Dahl on Mrs Beeton (w/t), a social history/cookery series. Produced by KEO Films, the BBC Two one-hour factual program follows best-selling author and food writer Sophie Dahl as she learns about the life of Mrs Beeton, wife, fashion journalist, editor and author of Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management, which was a best seller in 1861. Dahl will cook recipes from Beeton's books and talk to experts and historians about Beeton's continuing influence. The one-off will air in early 2011.
