Zig Zag Productions hires Matt Gould as executive VP, Zig Zag USA. The former Discovery and TruTV exec will be responsible for spearheading Zig Zag's rapidly growing U.S. business from the New York office in 2011.

Zig Zag Productions has hired Matt Gould as executive VP, Zig Zag USA.

The former Discovery and TruTV exec will be responsible for spearheading Zig Zag’s rapidly growing U.S. business from the New York office in 2011.

Gould was previously the executive producer, program development at TruTV since 2008, where he helped launch Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and Southern Fried Stings.

Gould has also served as vice president, program development at Travel Channel, where he was responsible for popular series Man Vs Food and Ghost Adventures, and from 2004-2006, Gould was senior executive producer at Discovery Channel and TLC. Gould will report directly to Zig Zag’s chief executive Danny Fenton and co-founder Kevin Utton.
