HBO Archives, TCM team up for ‘March of Time’ marathon

HBO Archives and Turner Classic Movies will celebrate the new year with a marathon of The March of Time documentary series. The year-long 75th anniversary of the theatrical journalism series is wrapped up with a six hour marathon of 12 documentaries airing on TCM from 2pm to 8pm (ET). The March of Time was produced by Time magazine from 1935 to 1967 and covered a range of big events in news, politics and sports. The New Year's Day marathon will be hosted by TCM primetime host Robert Osborne and will include titles like 'Dust Bowl,' 'Poland and War' and 'Teenage Girls.'
