History Makers announces nominees for 2011 Awards

PBS' My Lai and Australian prodco Electric Pictures each score multiple nominations for the upcoming edition of History Makers' annual awards ceremony.

Organizers behind the History Makers conference, to be held from January 26-28 in New York, have announced the nominees for its awards ceremony, recognizing the best in history, current affairs and non-fiction programming.

This year’s gala will be hosted by Alison Stewart, co-anchor of PBS’ TV and online newsmagazine Need to Know. The Peabody Award-winning Stewart has also reported and anchored for ABC News, CBS News, NPR, NBC News, MSNBC, and MTV News.
