UK-based Windfall Films has produced a spin-off of engineering series Monster Moves called Animal Mega Moves that will air globally on National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) in January and in the U.S. on Nat Geo WILD later in 2011. The hour-long doc series follows specialist animal movers as they relocate families of large animals such as elephants, rhinos, sharks and horses around the world by land, air and sea. Two of the series’ four episodes were filmed in Africa and coproduced with Johannesburg-based prodco Aquavision. Windfall has pre-sold the series to Australian network SBS.
