International distributor DCD Rights has announced a number of sales for its factual series, as well as drama, ahead of NATPE.  The Bionic Vet, a six-part half hour series from Wild Productions, has been licensed to Smithsonian Channel US, Foxtel Australia, TVNZ New Zealand, Danmarks Radio in Denmark and Yes DBS Israel. BBC Worldwide has also picked up the series to air on BBC Knowledge in the Nordic region, Asia, Poland and Africa.

The Bionic Vet tells the story of veterinarian Noel Fitzpatrick, who is pioneering revolutionary surgical techniques to save animals. One of his charges includes Oscar the cat (pictured), whose new prosthetic paws made him famous on the Internet.
