Alaska programming a hit for Discovery

Discovery reports that Flying Wild Alaska's debut and the return of Gold Rush: Alaska made the network number one among all ad-supported cable in primetime on January 14 among key demos.

Discovery reports that Flying Wild Alaska‘s debut and the return of Gold Rush: Alaska made the network number one among all ad-supported cable in primetime on January 14 among key demos.

Gold Rush: Alaska was the top program among M25-54/18-49 , while Flying Wild Alaska became Discovery’s highest rated new series premiere ever in HH’s and P18+.  The net reports that both shows posted triple digit gains in key demos compared to last year.

Also ranking number one among all ad-supported cable in key women demos is TLC, for Say Yes to the Dress and Four Weddings.  Both shows, into its sixth and third season respectively, are posting double digit gains compared to last year.
