Nordic World and Northern Alliance Group, a venture between four of the Nordic region’s independent prodcos, have announced an exclusive format distribution deal.

Nordic World recently established a format division, to officially launch at MIPTV.

Northern Alliance Group is made up of Finland’s Moskito, Norway’s Monster, Denmark’s Gong and Sweden’s Baluba.

The agreement brings a slate of more than 20 new and established formats, including Monster’s Drop Outs which gives school drop outs techniques and coaching to return to school. It was commissioned by TVNorge in Norway, set to air this fall.

Jan Salling, Nordic World’s COO and director of sales (pictured) said in a statement, “With a strong and creative company like Northern Alliance Group on board we are a step closer to achieving our vision to unite all independent companies in the Nordic region and secure that Nordic creativity stimulates Nordic Growth.”
