AETN International names Ellen Lovejoy senior director of int’l content sales

Former Target Entertainment Ltd SVP sales & programming Ellen Lovejoy has been named senior director, international content sales at AETN International.

Former Target Entertainment Ltd SVP sales & programming Ellen Lovejoy has been named senior director, international content sales at AETN International.

Assuming her New York-based role in the spring, Lovejoy will report to Ian Jones, MD of international content distribution & commercial development. She will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for AETN’s catalog of new programs and will work on managing the licensing of AETN programming for off-network exhibition on TV and other broadcast platforms in various territories, including Australia and New Zealand.

“Ellen has a wealth of international sales experience, with a solid track record of building successful creative partnerships with network and cable broadcasters. We are confident she will be a great asset to the company and look forward to welcoming her to the team,” said Jones in a statement.

Lovejoy was also VP sales and programming, USA, Canada and Latin America with Beyond Distribution and sales manager for UK-based Mayfair Entertainment.
