3Net announces 10 more titles

Ten additional titles have been announced for the all-3D network's premiere month, now carried in the U.S. on DirecTV.

As previously announced, 3D network 3net has launched on DirecTV with a number of one-hour specials. Now the joint venture between Sony, Discovery and IMAX has revealed more titles for its month-long premiere schedule.

The original premieres announced today include  Oceana Airshow, an aerial and pyrotechnic show in 3D; I (Almost) Got Away With It, which follows the story of a man who fled to Vegas after spending 12 years in jail for shooting his ex-wife’s boyfriend, and Puppy Bowl VII, the annual event aired on Animal Planet, now in native 3D.

3net also boasts three world 3D television premieres:  The Last Buffalo, following artist/inventor William Lishman as he constructs a gigantic metal statue; 3D Safari: Africa and Bugs! A Rainforest Adventure, narrated by Judi Dench, which follows the life and death of a praying mantis and a butterfly.

3net premieres include 3D Sun, which explores the brilliant auroras and explosions on the sun; Under the Sea 3D, where viewers meet great white sharks, cutterfish and sea lions, in a doc narrated by Jim Carrey; Deep Sea 3D, narrated by Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, and Dinosaurs: Giants of the Patagonia, narrated by Donald Sutherland.

3net will offer original 3D series and new program debuts every night at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
