Spike TV and Original Productions mine unscripted drama in Coal, a 10-episode series set in the Cobalt Mine in Westchester, West Virginia. The show follows co-owners Mike Crowder and Tom Roberts as they oversee a staff of 40 machine operators, foremen, electricians and drivers working one of the most demanding and dangerous jobs in the United States.

Barry Walsh is editor and content director for realscreen, and has served as editor of the publication since 2009.
