International Digital Emmy nominees announced

Four digital non-fiction projects are in the running to receive an International Digital Emmy, including the National Film Board of Canada's much-lauded Highrise project (pictured).

The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the nominees for this year’s International Digital Emmy Awards, to be held on the opening night of MIPTV in Cannes, April 4.

Twelve nominees from eight countries will vie for awards in three categories. In the digital non-fiction category, the nominees are: Embarrassing Bodies Live, produced by Maverick Television for Channel 4 in the UK; Highrise, a multi-year interactive documentary project from the National Film Board of Canada; Globo Amazonia: The Geoglyphs from TV Globo in Brazil and X Factor: BEASTAR from FremantleMedia for TV2 Norway.
