Lifetime Television has announced a six-part documentary series on the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will follow the network’s original movie, William & Kate, on April 18.

Royal Wedding of a Lifetime is a six-part one-hour series examining the history of the couple’s relationship and the preparations for their wedding, including the wedding gown and cuisine.

After its premiere, Royal Wedding of a Lifetime will air on April 21 and April 22.

Royal Wedding of a Lifetime is produced by Renegade Pictures (UK) LTD and executive produced by Alan Hayling (The Queen in 3D, Children of Beslan), Jon Rowlands (Who Was Jesus?, Don’t Tell the Bride) and Sue Davidson (The Apprentice, How to Live with Women), and JoAnn Alfano, Gena McCarthy and Jim Rapsas of Lifetime Television.
