Rive Gauche has acquired the 20 West Productions series, a top-rated show for TLC,  which features two people per episode who are battling obsessive and odd behaviors. My Strange Addiction features a woman obsessed with eating sofa cushions, another who eats toilet paper and a person addicted to sleeping with their blow dryer.

“Some shows make your heart break while others make your jaw drop.  My Strange Addiction has connected so strongly with audiences because it succeeds brilliantly at both,”  said David Auerbach, president of Rive Gauche Television, in a release.
