TVO has launched its digital Public Archive, the free online resource for surfers looking to plumb 40 years of the Canadian pubcaster’s extensive original programming.

The archive is full of feature interviews with scientific notables such as Carl Sagan and Steve Wozniak; literary icons such as Mordecai Richler and Margaret Atwood; and entertainment legends like John Candy and Leonard Cohen (pictured). Programming highlights from TV Ontario also include Elwy Yost’s classic conversations with the stars for Saturday Night at the Movies.

The online archive is the centerpiece of the channel’s 40 year anniversary celebrations, and is available at archive.tvo.org.
