Rainbow Media Global adds to its int’l department

Sally Habbershaw has been named Rainbow Media Global's vice president, scheduling acquisitions and promotions, while Jennie Morris will take on the role of director of affiliate marketing.

Sally Habbershaw has been named Rainbow Media Global’s vice president, scheduling acquisitions and promotions, while Jennie Morris will take on the director of affiliate marketing role.

The newly created positions will both be based in New York.

Habbershaw, most recently the director of development at VH1, will oversee scheduling, acquisitions and promotions for Rainbow Media’s international properties, which includes Sundance Channel and WE tv. She will report to Harold Gronenthal, senior vice president and general manager of Rainbow Media Global.

Habbershaw is a broadcast and cable television veteran, having worked at Viacom, Paramount and NBC Europe. She has also served as vice president and general manager of VH1 UK for Viacom UK.

Morris will oversee affiliate marketing across Rainbow’s global markets and will report to Ed Palluth, senior vice president, global distribution. She was previously in the programming and operations division of Sundance Channel and prior to that was a senior manager at Showtime in both the new media and international business development divisions.
