FOCAL announces nominees for upcoming awards

FOCAL International, the trade body representing footage archives, footage researchers, consultants and facility houses has announced its shortlisted final nominations for the upcoming FOCAL International Awards, presented in association with AP Archive.

Chairman of the British Film Institute and former director general of the BBC, Greg Dyke, will present the 18 awards along with FOCAL International chair Sue Malden. The ceremony takes place at the Lancaster London Hotel on May 11.

The organization says that this year it received 233 nominations from 20 countries, higher than last year’s tally.

The nominees are:
